Role & Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of cost consultancy services from acquisition stage through to final account agreement.
- Liaise with clients, cost consultants, and project managers to ensure coordinated project delivery.
- Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets to support development viability and decision making.
- Manage procurement processes and assist with tender evaluation and contractor selection.
- Undertake cost control, reporting, and financial monitoring across multiple live projects.
- Assist with contract preparation, negotiation, and administration throughout project lifecycle.
- Engage with supply chain partners to support effective delivery and cost management strategies.
- Process contractor payments and manage budget reconciliations in line with project progress.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum three years experience within UK construction as a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Consultant.
- Strong understanding of cost planning, procurement, and post contract cost management processes.
- Experience working within consultancy or main contractor environments is highly desirable.
- Exposure to residential or mixed-use development projects within urban environments.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline.
- MRICS or MCIOB qualification or working towards professional accreditation is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to manage stakeholders and support client relationships effectively.
