Role & Responsibilities:
- Act as contract administrator or employer’s agent across a range of building projects.
- Prepare and present design schemes supporting project delivery and client approval processes.
- Manage client relationships and contribute to project programming and delivery strategies.
- Submit applications for planning, listed building consent, and building control approvals.
- Undertake tender processes including analysis, reporting, and contract documentation preparation.
- Carry out surveys and inspections to assess building condition and maintenance requirements.
- Provide professional services including party wall matters and schedules of condition.
- Support delivery of retrofit and decarbonisation schemes across residential portfolios.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or equivalent recognised construction discipline.
- Minimum two years post qualification experience within building surveying roles.
- Associate membership of RICS or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Experience delivering retrofit or decarbonisation projects within housing sectors.
- Strong understanding of contract administration and project management processes.
- Ability to manage client relationships and communicate technical information clearly.
