A friendly, boutique-sized architecture practice has an opportunity available. This is an excellent chance for anyone looking to work on contemporary high-end residential refurbishments and new builds for both private clients and developers.
Established in 2011, the practice has built a strong reputation for delivering clean, cohesive architecture in super-prime areas such as RBKC, Westminster, and beyond. Their portfolio includes mews houses in Notting Hill, townhouses in Chelsea, a basement refurbishment in Putney, and a full rebuild in Wandsworth.
Current projects include a Knightsbridge portfolio of high-risk buildings (HRBs) requiring Building Safety Regulator submissions, a 59-unit office-to-residential conversion in Chiswick, and a new-build private house in Market Mews, Mayfair.
Role & Responsibilities
- To work on high-end residential schemes in London’s most prime locations, project values range from £1 million – £3 million pounds
- Produce detailed technical drawing packages using Vectorworks
- Preparation of tender information and construction documentation (drawings and NBS)
- Development of detailed and technical designs
- Work in both new build and refurbishment projects
- Reporting to the Directors on your progress
Required Skills & Experience
- Qualified as an Architectural Technologist/Technician, with a minimum of 3 years’ professional working experience within a UK practice
- Vectorworks is very desirable but applications without this will be considered
- Construction pack production and detail design experience
- Experience working on high-end residential projects in London locations
- Strong technical detailing ability
- Familiarity with BSR/HRB compliance is a bonus
- Excellent English, both written and verbal + eligible to work in the UK
