CDM Principal Designer - Edinburgh required for a dedicated CDM and Health and Safety role within the construction sector. Based in Edinburgh, this position suits a professional with at least three years post qualification experience delivering Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015. The role focuses purely on CDM leadership rather than design management, taking responsibility for compliance across a varied project portfolio. You will initially be office based before moving to a hybrid arrangement, supporting project teams and embedding best practice across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Principal Designer services across multiple construction projects
- Manage CDM 2015 compliance from inception to completion
- Advise design teams on statutory duties and risk management
- Prepare fee proposals and scope documentation
- Deliver internal CPD on Health and Safety legislation
- Report to senior management on compliance performance
