Interior Designer Job in North London, with a creative studio specialising in F&B and hospitality. This is a design-led role for someone with strong aesthetic judgement, concept ability and the confidence to take projects forward, supported by solid CAD and delivery knowledge.

This established interior design studio has been operating for over 20 years and works across a diverse range of restaurants, cafés, bars and hotels in the UK and overseas. Known for creating thoughtful, characterful and enduring spaces, the practice balances strong creative vision with practical delivery. With a healthy pipeline of hospitality projects, they are now looking to add a design-focused Interior Designer to their close-knit team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Interpreting and developing client briefs with a strong emphasis on concept and design intent
  • Creating and visualising design concepts through sketches, mood boards and presentations
  • Developing layout plans and producing 2D CAD drawings, with the ability to brief or oversee junior support
  • Selecting materials, finishes, furniture and FF&E with strong design sensitivity
  • Liaising directly with clients, consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
  • Understanding the fundamentals of implementation to support smooth project delivery
  • Attending site visits and contributing to on-site coordination as required
  • Managing workloads in line with agreed timelines and fees

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years' experience working on F&B and/or hospitality projects in the UK
  • Strong design eye with a clear passion for creative, well-considered interiors
  • Experience taking projects from concept through to delivery, with an understanding of how designs are implemented
  • Competent in Vectorworks, Adobe Suite and Sketchup
  • Confident communicator, articulate and comfortable in a client-facing role
  • Working knowledge of interior construction basics and site processes
  • Some site experience preferred
  • Ability to mentor or oversee a junior team member would be beneficial
