Senior CDM Consultant job in Central London, leading CDM compliance across complex commercial, residential, and large-scale development projects. This role will involve managing multiple high-risk projects, providing oversight from design through to construction completion, and mentoring junior CDM consultants. Offering a salary of up to Β£55,000, hybrid working, and benefits.
This opportunity is with a busy, growing consultancy delivering CDM and building safety advice across the built environment. The team works on high-profile and technically challenging projects, supporting clients in delivering safe, compliant, and practical solutions, with a collaborative and client-focused approach.
Role & Responsibilities- Lead CDM compliance on multiple high-risk projects from foundations through to completion
- Advise clients on risk management and health & safety during design and construction
- Prepare and maintain CDM documentation and project files
- Attend client and design team meetings, both in person and remotely
- Mentor junior CDM consultants and support professional development
- Conduct site visits across London and surrounding areas
- Ensure projects meet energy efficiency targets and sustainability objectives
- 5 years' experience in CDM consultancy, construction, or surveying
- Confident client-facing experience with high-risk or high-profile projects
- Knowledge of UK construction and health & safety standards
- NEBOSH general or construction desirable
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Experience mentoring or leading junior team members
- Salary up to Β£55,000
- 25 days holiday
