Role & Responsibilities
- Take a client brief and develop efficient, effective and sustainable design solutions compliant with UK Building Regulations, Construction Law, British Standards and relevant CoPs.
- Select or advise on materials and assist in writing NBS specifications.
- Prepare statutory submissions including Planning, Building Regulations and Building Safety Gateways.
- Negotiate with statutory bodies and complete statutory submissions and reports.
- Attend meetings and workshops with Clients, Designers, Contractors and Specialists.
- Support the Project Lead with the maintenance of Design Risk Registers.
Required Skills & Experience
- ARB registered Architect with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification UK experience.
- Experience designing and delivering office and workplace projects.
- Strong all-round experience from concept to delivery.
- Collaborative approach and experience working within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, drawing and presentation skills.
- Minimum two years' experience using Revit as prime software.
- Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign.
- Experience in 3D visualisation (Lumion or Enscape) desirable.
