Role & Responsibilities

  • Take a client brief and develop efficient, effective and sustainable design solutions compliant with UK Building Regulations, Construction Law, British Standards and relevant CoPs.
  • Select or advise on materials and assist in writing NBS specifications.
  • Prepare statutory submissions including Planning, Building Regulations and Building Safety Gateways.
  • Negotiate with statutory bodies and complete statutory submissions and reports.
  • Attend meetings and workshops with Clients, Designers, Contractors and Specialists.
  • Support the Project Lead with the maintenance of Design Risk Registers.

Required Skills & Experience

  • ARB registered Architect with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification UK experience.
  • Experience designing and delivering office and workplace projects.
  • Strong all-round experience from concept to delivery.
  • Collaborative approach and experience working within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, drawing and presentation skills.
  • Minimum two years' experience using Revit as prime software.
  • Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Experience in 3D visualisation (Lumion or Enscape) desirable.
