Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage large scale fire safety projects from early design stages through to completion across multiple sectors.
- Lead and mentor surveyors, engineers, and consultants to ensure high quality project delivery.
- Provide technical fire safety advice aligned with current regulations and industry standards.
- Oversee project budgets, invoicing, and programme management to ensure commercial performance.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to support delivery of project objectives and key performance indicators.
- Support business development activities to secure new work and maintain client relationships.
- Identify training opportunities and support professional development across the team.
- Report to senior leadership and collaborate across wider teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum five years experience within fire safety or building consultancy environments.
- Professional membership such as MRICS, MCABE, MIFIREE, MCIOB or working towards accreditation.
- Strong understanding of fire safety design and regulatory requirements across building types.
- Knowledge of UK regulatory processes and compliance frameworks within construction projects.
- Experience mentoring and managing junior team members within a consultancy environment.
- Understanding of building pathology, construction methods, and material performance.
- Experience with cladding systems, facades, and EWS1 assessments is highly desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for project travel requirements.
