Role & Responsibilities
- Support development of the fire engineering department and contribute to service expansion initiatives
- Deliver fire safety consultancy services across multiple projects within multidisciplinary environments
- Undertake lender due diligence and provide fire related technical advice to stakeholders
- Prepare planning gateway one fire statements and support regulatory submission processes
- Carry out EWS1 assessments and FRAEW fire risk evaluations for existing buildings
- Review construction stage works and support building safety compliance and Clerk of Works duties
- Assist with government funding applications and ensure compliance with relevant requirements
- Support business development through client engagement, networking, and proposal preparation
Skills & Experience Required
- Chartered Engineer status is desirable with additional fire related accreditations advantageous
- Proven experience within fire safety, fire engineering, or fire science consultancy environments
- Background within multidisciplinary consultancy settings delivering integrated services
- Experience in client relationship management and business development activities
- Strong understanding of UK building safety legislation and fire compliance requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining quality outputs
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients and project teams
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for travel requirements
Salary & Benefits
Salary range between 60,000 and 75,000 depending on experience and level. Car allowance of 5,400 in addition to base salary package.
