I have an opportunity with a rapidly growing multi-disciplinary consultancy to join their Cambridge office. The company works on projects at all scales within town, semi-rural, and rural contexts, across sectors including residential, historic sites and estates, renewable energy, and mixed-use developments.
This consultancy operates across the UK with six regional offices in the North, East Anglia, London, and Essex. The current headcount is 60, with plans to expand to 80 within the next year. Their services include Town Planning, Architecture, Masterplanning, Landscape Architecture, and Heritage.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits regularly
- Collaborate with and manage a team
- Write reports and ensure quality assurance
- Prepare and secure fee proposals
- Work on LVIA and TVIA assessments
- Produce EIA chapters
- Develop landscape strategies and masterplans
Required Skills & Experience
- Chartered Landscape Architect with 5+ years post-qualification experience
- Confidence in site surveys and LVIA / TVIA assessments
- Experience in authoring EIA chapters
- Ability to work collaboratively and mentor junior team members
- Full UK driving license and access to a car for site visits
- Experience in landscape strategies, masterplans, and LI work stages up to planning
- Previous UK experience is essential
- Excellent command of English is desirable due to report quality
