Overview of the Role

An Architectural Technician is required to support the delivery of education, residential and public sector projects within an established architectural practice. The role focuses on technical coordination, detailed drawing production and project delivery across multiple RIBA stages using Revit and AutoCAD.

Practice & Project Information

This established practice delivers projects across the education, residential and public sectors throughout the UK. The studio promotes collaborative working, sustainable design principles and technical quality, offering a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical drawing packages and detailed construction information across project stages
  • Produce and coordinate Revit models and technical documentation
  • Support project delivery on education, residential and public sector schemes
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and technical standards Attend project meetings and site visits to support delivery and coordination

Required Skills and Experience

  • Degree, HNC or HND qualification in Architectural Technology or a related subject
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD within UK architectural projects
  • Experience producing technical information across UK work stages
  • Good technical detailing knowledge and understanding of construction methods
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning requirements
  • Strong communication and organisational skills within collaborative project teams
