A leading B Corp® certified, employee-owned consultancy (300+ staff across 9 studios) is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead on major projects (£20m+) in London. You’ll be part of a progressive, people-first practice committed to sustainable, innovative design and technical excellence.
🔎 Your Role
- Lead and run large-scale projects (£20m+) from inception to completion
- Manage multiple on-site projects, delegating effectively to junior staff
- Write specifications and develop detailed technical design solutions
- Manage and coordinate the design team + external consultants
- Take responsibility for compliance, delivery and profitability
- Lead client engagement, presentations and relationship management
- Oversee project finances (fees, invoicing, profitability)
- Mentor junior staff + contribute to practice-wide knowledge sharing
- Support regional director with winning work and growing accounts
🛠️ What You’ll Need
- Proven track record running complex projects through all stages
- Strong technical expertise with Revit + BIM workflows
- Ability to produce/manage detailed specifications + technical packages
- Experience coordinating consultants and leading project teams
- Knowledge of MMC, net zero carbon design + sustainable approaches
- Understanding of reuse, repair, refurbishment + deconstruction
- Excellent communication + client-facing skills
- Bonus: Dynamo scripting, NBS Chorus, education sector experience
