Role Overview

  • Build and maintain relationships with agents, landowners, local authorities, and developers.
  • Conduct land appraisals including feasibility, due diligence, and financial assessments.
  • Negotiate and secure land deals in line with budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the Land Director and Planning Team throughout acquisition stages.
  • Oversee contracts, partnerships, and assist in post-acquisition activity.
  • Regular site travel across the South East.

Requirements

  • Experience in a land buying or negotiation role – ideally with a housebuilder or developer.
  • Knowledge of the end-to-end land acquisition process.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
