Defects Building Surveyor – Central London
£40,000 – £65,000 DOE + Hybrid Working
Based near King’s Cross. We’re working with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy that’s growing fast – and they’re now looking for a Defects Building Surveyor to join their London team. With over 50 years in the industry and a strong reputation across both public and private sectors, this consultancy offers exposure to a wide variety of residential and mixed-use projects. You’ll focus on defect diagnosis, building pathology, report/spec writing, and project management, covering sites across London and the Home Counties.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Diagnosing building defects (damp, cracks, structural issues)
- Writing clear, detailed reports
- Preparing specifications
- Managing projects from start to finish
- 5+ years' experience post-graduation
- Ideally MRICS or working towards it
- Strong defect diagnosis & spec writing skills
- Residential sector experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence (pool car available from North London)
- £40K–£65K salary + bonus scheme
- Hybrid working (2 days from home)
