Technical Landscape Design Assistant Job in Winchester, Hampshire Join a renowned landscape design studio and support the creation of bespoke gardens and estates, combining technical precision with timeless design. Established over 25 years ago, this design-led practice specialises in high-end private residential projects across the South of England. Their portfolio includes country gardens, listed buildings, rural estates and new homes, often developed in close collaboration with leading architects, planners and interior designers. Known for their thoughtful, research-driven approach, the team combines traditional design principles with deep horticultural expertise to craft gardens that are inspiring, enduring, and rooted in context. Role & Responsibilities Creating and modifying technical drawings Producing planting and materials plans, schedules, and montages Preparing budget costings Developing and managing CAD templates Organising project documents and information Supporting quality control processes Problem-solving and following design team instructions Required Skills & Experience Qualification in Landscape Design, Garden Design, or Architecture Practical experience using Vectorworks in a landscape setting (2D and 3D) Ability to read and interpret topographical plans Strong technical drawing ability and attention to detail What you get back £30,000 – £35,000 Career development opportunities within an established practice Supportive and collaborative office culture Apply If you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
