A Senior Interior Architect is required to join a growing design studio working on high-end residential renovations and new-build projects across Surrey and London. Based predominantly in the studio, this role suits a technically strong designer with 5+ years' professional studio experience, excellent residential construction knowledge and the ability to deliver detailed projects from concept through to implementation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce comprehensive AutoCAD drawings and technical packages
  • Develop bespoke joinery, kitchen and bathroom details
  • Prepare lighting, electrical and reflected ceiling layouts
  • Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors and specialist trades
  • Support specifications, procurement, approvals and project administration
  • Attend site meetings, review contractor and supplier drawings, resolve technical queries and help refine studio systems, drawing standards, schedules and document-control processes.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 5+ years' professional interior design studio experience
  • High-end UK residential project experience
  • Excellent AutoCAD and strong SketchUp capability
  • Strong technical detailing and residential construction knowledge
  • Experience producing detailed bespoke joinery packages
  • Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft 365 skills are required.
  • Experience with substantial whole-house projects and studio management software such as Programa would be advantageous.

Salary & Benefits

Competitive salary, dependent on experience. The role is three days per week, predominantly studio-based, with potential flexibility to work remotely one day per week and regular travel to projects across Surrey and London.
