A Senior Interior Designer job is now available in West London. This is the perfect opportunity for a technically strong designer looking to work on national and international restaurant projects. A salary of 50,000 – 60,000 is available for the right candidate.
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Interior Designer with strong creative and technical abilities to join their team of 15. This is a busy, hands-on role which will suit an experienced designer who thrives off creating unique concepts and leading multiple projects at once.
Role & Responsibilities
– Running multiple restaurant projects from concept to completion
– Leading design research projects and developing concepts
– Mentoring and managing junior and mid-weight designers
– Producing/overseeing full technical drawing packs, including joinery, furniture and construction detailing
– Ensuring projects adhere to budgetary requirements
– Managing and undertaking all documentation associated with construction, as well as coordinating with FF&E resources for each project
– Creating and developing programmes and plans needed for each project
– Regular site visits to track project progress.
Required Skills & Experience
– 7+ years’ experience working on F&B or hospitality projects
– Ability to and experience leading teams across all project stages
– Interior architecture; Strong technical knowledge and skills and the ability to produce and review technical packages, detail drawings and spec
– Knowledge of joinery, furniture and construction detailing is also essential
– Project management experience
– A solid understanding of UK building regulations. Additional knowledge of European regulations would also be advantageous
– The ability to sketch freehand
– Highly proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
