Lead Interior Designer Job in Central London

A Lead Interior Designer job is immediately available in Central London. This is a 6-month contract job offering a fantastic opportunity to join an Interiors & Architecture practice and lead upcoming commercial/workplace projects. A pro rata salary of £50,000 – £70,000 is available for the perfect candidate.

The practice has a team of interior designers and technical staff that work on projects across London, typically commercial/workplace projects up to 30,000 sqft. They are looking for a Lead Interior Designer to manage projects in full, including a small team of designers.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Manage projects across all required stages
2. Lead and manage a project team across all stages of design
3. Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers
4. Oversee and assist in producing technical designs and bespoke joinery detailing
5. Attend site visits as required

Required Skills & Experience

1. Degree qualified in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
2. 7+ years’ experience leading projects, ideally in a traditional design practice
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD
4. Revit skills (working knowledge is essential)
5. Client facing and on-site experience
