Their work spans major workplace refurbishments, adaptive reuse projects and high-end commercial interiors, offering the opportunity to contribute to complex, design-driven schemes with an emphasis on quality delivery.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical drawing packages across all RIBA stages for commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure accurate integration of architectural and interior details
- Undertake on-site inspections, liaising closely with contractors to uphold high standards of workmanship
- Develop exterior and interior details, including joinery, specialist finishes and bespoke elements
- Ensure compliance with current Building Regulations, British Standards and best practice guidance
- Support the team through design development, technical problem-solving and project coordination
- Review and contribute to NBS specifications
Required Skills & Experience
- 7 - 10 years' experience working on substantial commercial or workplace projects
- Strong background in refurbishment and extension of existing buildings
- Comprehensive knowledge of detailed construction, joinery and material specification
- Excellent AutoCAD skills with proven ability to produce complex technical packages
- Confident working on site and communicating with contractors
- Experience producing exterior detail drawings and coordinating multi-disciplinary information
- Strong understanding of budgets, procurement routes and delivery processes
- Clear communicator with initiative and the ability to work within a dynamic studio environment
