An opportunity for an Architect to join an established practice in Birmingham, delivering architectural design and project work across multiple RIBA stages. The role is suited to an ARB-registered professional with experience across education and DfE projects, combining design development, technical delivery, coordination and construction-stage responsibilities within a multi-disciplinary environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop architectural solutions responding to project briefs
  • Produce surveys, reports, drawings and presentation information
  • Coordinate technical designs with consultants and manufacturers
  • Prepare planning, building control and construction information
  • Attend meetings, inspections and undertake contract administration

You will maintain project quality assurance records and coordinate information against relevant technical standards and statutory requirements. Responsibilities also include Building Regulations, Building Safety Act 2022 and CDM Regulations 2015 compliance.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Part 3 qualified and ARB registered
  • Strong experience managing all RIBA stages
  • Previous education and DfE project experience
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Understanding of CDM Regulations and Building Regulations

You should be able to develop coherent architectural designs supported by appropriate construction technologies and techniques. The position requires effective workload management, collaborative project working and an understanding of professional architectural responsibilities, health and safety requirements and regulatory frameworks.

Salary & Benefits

  • £40,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
