As part of our Planning function, the UK MRP Controller plays a key role in ensuring product availability, operational efficiency, and rightâsized inventory across the UK market. Acting as the frontâline contact for Vendors and internal stakeholders, you'll manage a material resource planning portfolio endâtoâendâoverseeing supply, demand, and stock levels while contributing to new product launches and endâofâlife processes. Key Responsibilities- Oversee Material Resource Planning across all HD UK sites.
- Manage supply in line with demand to meet Service Level targetsâincluding ensuring availability of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging for production.
- Forecast future demand to support new ranges and promotional activities, balancing service with stock turn efficiency.
- Replenish and manage stock within agreed inventory budgets.
- Communicate and manage stock shortages through customer service teams.
- Implement and execute MRP processes, routines, policies, and controls within your portfolio.
- Standardise and utilise the SAP MRP moduleâsetting planning parameters and managing master data.
- Ensure SAP accurately reflects stock positions, inâtransit goods, and open purchase/sales orders.
- Partner with commercial teams to input insights into the S&OP process.
- Calculate and monitor KPIs such as OTIF%, stock availability, and leadâtime adherence.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Finance.
- Drive automation, digitalisation, and dataâled decisionâmaking across planning activities.
- Advanced MS Office proficiency.
- 2â3 years in MRP Controlling or Supply Planning within the UK market.
- BSc in a businessârelated field.
- SAP MRP knowledge (or other SAP modules) is highly advantageous.
- Ability to make dataâdriven decisions and solve complex planning challenges.
- Confident communicator able to build effective relationships with internal teams and vendors.
