Hunter Construction (Aberdeen) Limited are a Civil Engineering contractor with over 50 years experience in the construction industry. We work on housing, surfacing, concrete works, drainage, sports fields and building maintenance contracts.

Please note this is not an entry level position and only experienced applicants will be considered. We will only consider applicants already within the UK and able to start work. Applications from overseas where a visa would be required to work in the UK will automatically be rejected.

Role Description:

  • Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance on cars, vans, HGV’s & small plant.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts, including brakes, suspension, engines, and transmission components.
  • Conduct MOT preparation work and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
  • Complete job cards, service reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues about required repairs and timescales.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Predominantly workshop based with mobile capability, attending breakdowns as required.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures in the workshop.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Motor Mechanic or Vehicle Technician.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems and mechanical components.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence.
