We’re working with a leading quantitative investment fund that is looking to hire an experienced Corporate IT Project Manager to join its technology team. This is an opportunity for a strong Project Manager to work in a highly professional, fast-paced investment environment, managing complex business systems, enterprise technology and transformation initiatives across the organisation.
You’ll take ownership of projects from initial definition through to delivery, working closely with technology teams, business stakeholders and corporate functions including Finance, HR, Tax, Legal, Compliance and Procurement.
The role will have a strong focus on the delivery of enterprise applications and business systems, including platforms such as Workday, Salesforce and ERP solutions, as well as associated integrations, process improvements and technology-enabled business transformation.
A significant part of the role will involve working with senior stakeholders across both Technology and the wider business. You’ll translate business requirements and objectives into clear delivery plans, ensuring technology teams, implementation partners and business functions remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
Projects will typically sit across corporate and business operations, including areas such as finance transformation, HR systems, procurement, tax, legal, compliance and corporate governance. You may be involved in new system implementations, major upgrades, integrations, process redesign and wider business transformation programmes.
Key experience is likely to include:
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of complex corporate IT and business systems projects across multiple teams and business functions
- Experience delivering enterprise application implementations, ideally involving platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, ERP or other major SaaS/business applications
- Strong stakeholder management, including working with senior business leaders, functional heads and technology leadership
- Experience managing projects across functions such as Finance, HR, Procurement, Tax, Legal or Compliance
- Excellent planning, organisation, risk, issue and dependency management
- Experience managing systems integrations, data migration, testing, change management and business readiness
- Strong vendor and implementation partner management experience
- Experience working across Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a good understanding of when each approach is appropriate
- PRINCE2 qualification or equivalent project management experience
- Experience working closely with IT architecture, applications, infrastructure, data and security teams
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to bring structure, accountability and momentum to complex projects
- The ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment, coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders without direct line-management responsibility
