My client is a completely tech-driven proprietary trading firm, looking to expand their Application Support team, and would like someone with prior front office experience to provide technical support and engineering functions in support of their proprietary and third-party trading systems.
- Ensure readiness of the global trading platform for both pre-trading and post-trading activities.
- Monitor and support the entire transaction flow across the trading platform.
- Collaborate extensively with the trading community, back office operations, brokers, exchanges, development teams, and infrastructure teams.
- Liaise with Dev and Infrastructure teams to coordinate and participate in software/new version releases.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience supporting front office applications/trading systems
- Strong scripting/development ability in 1 or more languages (Python) - Must have
- Strong understanding of Linux OS and administration - Must have
- SQL experience
- Degree in computer science or related field
