The role:
My client are looking to add to their Technical Authoring team and take on a knowledgeable Technical Author. You will work closely with the Development team to produce high quality documentation and release notes for customers, as well as a myriad of other activities.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and expanding release notes, online resources and other materials
- Working with Jira Product testing as it applies to creating robust and relevant documentation
- Writing, reviewing and editing content utilising various tools including Jira, Word, Google Docs and Madcap Flare
- Maintaining up to date files with version control
- Providing training where required
Core skills required:
- 2+ years of experience working as a Technical Author
- Experience working with Development teams/Developers to create precise and thorough release notes
- Some experience with Jira, Madcap Flare or Azure
Desirable skills:
- JavaScript
- Google Analytics
- Agile
- Github/Version Control
- Python
