The role:

My client are looking to add to their Technical Authoring team and take on a knowledgeable Technical Author. You will work closely with the Development team to produce high quality documentation and release notes for customers, as well as a myriad of other activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and expanding release notes, online resources and other materials
  • Working with Jira Product testing as it applies to creating robust and relevant documentation
  • Writing, reviewing and editing content utilising various tools including Jira, Word, Google Docs and Madcap Flare
  • Maintaining up to date files with version control
  • Providing training where required

Core skills required:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Technical Author
  • Experience working with Development teams/Developers to create precise and thorough release notes
  • Some experience with Jira, Madcap Flare or Azure

Desirable skills:

  • JavaScript
  • Google Analytics
  • Agile
  • Github/Version Control
  • Python
