This is a high-impact, newly created Director-level role within a high-performing and supportive banking team. You will take full responsibility for the successful software delivery of the complete Post-trade Technology Services stack, from inception through to deployment. This is a brilliant opportunity to lead a critical technology function within a major global bank.

You will lead a team of Developers in building and maintaining complex software solutions that power the full trade lifecycle. This involves the high-level integration of both vendor products and internal systems. As a Director, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic business goals, ensuring that the post-trade stack remains robust, scalable, and efficient.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing a team of Developers to deliver end-to-end software solutions
  • Overseeing the Post-trade Technology Services stack from inception to deployment
  • Integrating complex vendor products with internal banking systems
  • Driving technical standards and best practices across the full trade lifecycle
  • Leading high-level architectural decisions for C#-based services
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to align technology delivery with business needs
Requirements:
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing Software Developers in a professional environment
  • Technical Foundation: Strong fundamentals in C# development
  • Industry Background: Solid experience within Financial Services is essential
  • Domain Knowledge: Risk experience (Market or Credit Risk) is highly desirable but not essential
  • UI/Web Experience: Familiarity with React and/or WPF is a significant plus
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for managing teams and senior stakeholders
