The role: My client are seeking a knowledgeable Information & Cyber Security Analyst to join their team. This role is focused on the business side of Security, and is absolutely key in assuring that information is protected and secured at all times. The position is broadly split into a few core areas:
- Incident Response
- Vulnerability Management
- SIEM
- Security Monitoring
You will advise on Security best practices, and act as SME when assisting other teams.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Incident Response experience
- Security Monitoring experience
- Vulnerability Management experience
- Knowledge and understanding of technical Security tools: SIEM, EDR, DLP, Wireshark, Burp Suite etc.
- Understanding of threat modelling advantageous
- Investigation experience into Information and Cyber security incidents
- Broad technical understanding – Windows, Linux, Networks, VMware etc.
- Appreciation of GCIA, GCIH, GCFA etc. an advantageous
- Knowledge of tech such as Defender, Sentinel, KQL etc.
