The role:
My client, an elite global Trading firm, are seeking an experienced SRE / Production Engineer to join their team.
The organisation are interested in Senior SRE / Production Engineers that stem from big tech firms.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring uptime and availability of high throughput, high performance systems
- Automating menial tasks wherever possible
- Solving technically complex technical issues using out of the box thinking
- Delivering new solutions based on repetitive issues
- Evangelising the SRE mindset across the firm
- Experienced SRE / Production Engineer, ideally from Big Tech
- Proficient in Python
- Comfortable with various software development tools and SDLC practices (Testing, Source Control, Build, CI/CD and so on)
- Extensive experience working on highly performant, tuned Linux systems
- Ideally stems from a Software Development background
- Ideally a degree within a relevant discipline (ideally Computer Science), or within the STEM field
