My leading Hedge Fund client is looking for a talented, motivated, and hands-on technology leader to serve as the vital link between Investment Professionals and Technology solutions. This position requires a "player-coach" mentality—someone who is as comfortable collaborating at the C-suite level as they are building tactical tools. You will lead the delivery of technology solutions that empower investment teams, bridging the gap between core systems and front-office needs through a mix of Python development, low-code automation, and robust database management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary technical bridge between Investment Professionals and the IT function
- Developing and maintaining tactical tools using Python (Pandas/NumPy) and web frameworks
- Implementing low-code/no-code solutions via Microsoft Power Platform to streamline operations
- Managing the full development lifecycle, including Git-based version control and secure deployment
- Collaborating directly with C-level executives to align technology strategy with business goals
- Integrating and automating Excel workflows using VBA where essential for investment processes
- Managing data storage and manipulation using SQL Server and other database technologies
Requirements
