My client is a medium sized, multi-award winning technology lead Quant fund with a start-up feel based in London. They are looking to build a new team of Software Engineers to work on building trading systems and undertake multiple projects. The initial scope is to design and build a new greenfield platform for quantitative trading strategies, used by front office teams.
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Experience of Python software development
- Exposure to performance based, efficient, reliable and fast software applications
- Financial services, banking, quant hedge fund or fintech exposure a nice to have but not essential
- Strong understanding of object orientated fundamentals and principles, design patterns, data structures and algorithms
- Computer Science Degree ideally from a top University
- Personality and genuine passion in technology
