My leading Hedge Fund client is looking for a talented, motivated, and hands-on technology leader to serve as the vital link between Investment Professionals and Technology solutions. You will lead the delivery of technology solutions that empower investment teams, bridging the gap between core systems and front-office needs through a mix of Python development, low-code automation, and robust database management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary technical bridge between Investment Professionals and the IT function
- Developing and maintaining tactical tools using Python (Pandas/NumPy) and web frameworks
- Implementing low-code/no-code solutions via Microsoft Power Platform to streamline operations
- Managing the full development lifecycle, including Git-based version control and secure deployment
- Collaborating directly with C-level executives to align technology strategy with business goals
- Integrating and automating Excel workflows using VBA where essential for investment processes
- Managing data storage and manipulation using SQL Server and other database technologies
Requirements
- Tactical Development: Expert proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Flask/Django)
