The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior .
NET Technical Lead to join a high-performing technology team delivering business-critical enterprise applications.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining software engineering, technical design and delivery oversight across a portfolio of strategic technology initiatives.
You'll work with modern technologies in a collaborative environment where engineering quality, innovation and continuous improvement are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable . NET applications, APIs and distributed services while remaining hands-on with development.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams, mentoring developers and driving engineering best practices.
- Design robust, resilient solutions using modern architecture principles, messaging technologies and containerised platforms.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver complex change programmes from design through to production.
Requirements
- Extensive commercial experience developing applications with C# and the . NET ecosystem, including modern . NET.
- Proven experience leading development teams or technical workstreams while maintaining a hands-on coding role.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems and database design.
- Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes/Open Shift, Mongo DB, enterprise messaging platforms and CI/CD practices is highly desirable.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is an advantage.
