This role, based in London, offers an opportunity to enhance pricing frameworks and support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain pricing model standards and governance frameworks.
- Ensure consistent pricing practices across all product lines and legal entities.
- Oversee the annual cycle of pricing model updates and profitability reviews.
- Manage integration of pricing models into hosting platforms and data systems.
- Define portfolio analysis standards and validate analytical outputs.
- Lead technical pricing reviews for material contracts and programs.
- Support business planning and IELR parameterization processes.
- Deliver training sessions for stakeholders on pricing methods and tools.
Requirements:
- Qualified pricing actuary with extensive experience in London market insurance and reinsurance.
- Proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python, or R being advantageous.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgment, able to provide actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills, particularly when engaging with underwriters or brokers.
- Ability to manage deadlines and implement structured solutions.
