Global, elite high frequency trading firm are now seeking a Product Manager to work on their Equities Research Team who are tasked with driving new technical development initiatives in AI and for business trading portfolio. Your roll will be to manage roll-outs, gather feedback on new features, expansion of platforms and work to iterate software with internal portfolio clients and development teams.
The Product Manager will cover all elements of the software development lifecycle to drive key initiatives on long/short investing, merger arbitrage and index rebalancing.
What you will do:
- Interpret critical needs from the global Equities business unit
- Translate needs into technical specifications for the development teams use to build and enhance the tools used by Portfolio Managers
- Lead workshops on the idea generation processes in the research, trading and risk space, while coordinating deliverables, timelines and priorities
- Build key relationships with the business to understand trade critical needs and pain points. These relationships can be with Directors, Traders, Risk Analysts or Portfolio Managers
- Work with datasets to guide strategic product roadmap
Requirements:
- Experience building and launching technology software in the equity investment space
- Knowledge of the Equity market
- Some understanding of AI tools
- Project management/business analyst mindset
- Skills in data analysis, scripting/programming in Python and SQL
Salary: Up to £200,000 + bonus + package
