We are seeking a Platform Automation Specialist to join a global engineering team focused on delivering high-performance and highly available infrastructure using modern DevOps practices. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design, implement, and maintain automations that empower developers and engineers to self-serve platform services at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop platform automations to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with developers, platform engineers, and stakeholders to deliver robust automation solutions.
- Implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
- Administer and automate services across Linux, containers, storage, and networking environments.
- Contribute to ongoing system configuration, optimization, and performance tuning.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in platform automation or similar roles.
- Advanced knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform).
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Systems Engineering experience in a high-availability &/or low-latency environment
