We are supporting a global banking organisation in the appointment of a senior Oracle EPM Lead/Systems Owner to take ownership of their enterprise performance management platform across Finance and Technology. The role sits within a complex financial systems environment and is responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and ongoing development of Oracle EPM Cloud applications used for planning, consolidation, and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Ownership and governance of Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including FCCS, EPBCS, ARCS, and EDMCS
- Accountability for end‑to‑end EPM platform design, configuration standards, and operational stability
- Leadership of solution architecture across financial planning, consolidation, and allocation models
- Management of integrations between Oracle ERP environments (including general ledger and sub‑ledger data sources) and EPM Cloud
- Oversight of production support activity, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and service continuity
- Definition and maintenance of metadata structures, financial hierarchies, and enterprise reporting frameworks
- Collaboration with Finance and Technology stakeholders on system enhancements and governance processes
- Technical leadership across calculation logic, business rules, and data management processes
Required background
- Significant hands‑on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud applications, particularly FCCS and EPBCS
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation, planning, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Experience acting in a system ownership or lead architecture capacity within EPM environments
- Exposure to ERP integration, particularly Oracle ERP and financial data flows into EPM
- Experience working within regulated or complex financial services environments
- Strong capability in financial modelling, cost allocation, and enterprise planning design
- Technical environment includes Oracle EPM Cloud, Essbase logic, Groovy business rules, data integration tools, and enterprise financial data structures.
