Low Latency/Colo Senior Network Engineer : Trading Firm : CCNP/CCDE/CCIE : £150-200k++

An elite global hedge find with a plush office space in London are now seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work on it’s trading infrastructure. To apply, you will ideally be CCIE qualified with a strong background in low latency and multicast networks. Our client is a leading global market maker with an emphasis on technology to match. They seek an experienced profile who would look to build ultra-fast and reliable connectivity to proprietary trading technology, invariably around a bleeding edge Cisco environment.

What you\’ll be doing:

• Design, deploy and troubleshoot global network infrastructure and security
• Design industry leading networks
• Implement optimisations to build low latency network
• Work on network redesign, expansion and upgrade
• Support trading teams in relation to high frequency
• Automation, capacity planning and connectivity advancement
• Manage network expansion, upgrades and support
• Provide expert support to high frequency trading teams

What exposure you\’ll ideally have:

• LAN/WAN
• Low Latency Networking
• Data Centres/Colo
• Multicast/PIM
• Firewalls, VPN, IPS, Cisco, Juniper, Arista
• BGP, OSPF, TCP/UDP
• Automation and Python/Ansible scripting
• Linux operating systems
• Financial/Trading environment
• Cisco CCIE/CCDE qualified or CCNP level equivalent experience in a trading environment
