We are seeking a highly motivated M&A Vice President to join our London-based investment banking team. The role offers significant exposure to complex, cross-border transactions and direct interaction with senior bankers, clients, and investors. The successful candidate will play a key role in deal execution, team leadership, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of sell-side, buy-side, and strategic advisory mandates across multiple sectors
- Oversee financial analysis, valuation (DCF, comps, precedent transactions), and financial modelling
- Prepare and review client materials, including pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations, and board materials
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and other advisors
- Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and responsiveness
- Mentor and manage Analysts and Associates, reviewing work and providing guidance
- Support senior bankers in business development, origination, and client coverage initiatives
- Ensure transactions are executed in line with internal governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in investment banking M&A, corporate finance, or a related advisory role
- Strong track record of executed M&A transactions, ideally with cross-border exposure
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
- Experience working with UK, European, and international clients
