An elite global hedge fund is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work on its trading infrastructure. To apply, you will ideally be CCIE qualified with a strong background in low latency and multicast networks. Our client is a leading global market maker with an emphasis on technology to match. They seek an experienced profile who would look to build ultra-fast and reliable connectivity to proprietary trading technology, invariably around a bleeding edge Cisco environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design, deploy and troubleshoot global network infrastructure
  • Design industry leading networks
  • Implement optimisations to build low latency network
  • Work on network redesign, expansion and upgrade
  • Support trading teams in relation to high frequency
  • Automation, capacity planning and connectivity advancement
  • Manage network expansion, upgrades and support
  • Provide expert support to high frequency trading teams

  • ULLLAN/WAN, Data Centres - VXLANs
  • Cisco, Juniper, Arista
  • Security - Palo Alto & Fortinet
  • MPLS, BGP, OSPF, multicast, TCP/UDP

  • Linux operating systems
  • Financial/Trading environment
  • Cisco CCIE/CCDE qualified or equivalent experience in a trading environment
