An elite global hedge fund is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work on its trading infrastructure. To apply, you will ideally be CCIE qualified with a strong background in low latency and multicast networks. Our client is a leading global market maker with an emphasis on technology.
What you'll be doing:
- Design, deploy and troubleshoot global network infrastructure
- Design industry leading networks
- Implement optimisations to build low latency network
- Work on network redesign, expansion and upgrade
- Support trading teams in relation to high frequency
- Manage network expansion, upgrades and support
- Provide expert support to high frequency trading teams
What exposure you'll ideally have:
- LAN/WAN, Data Centres - VXLANs
- Cisco, Juniper, Arista
- Security - Palo Alto & Fortinet
- MPLS, BGP, OSPF, multicast, TCP/UDP
- Automation and Python scripting, Ansible, Terraform
- Linux operating systems
- Financial/Trading environment
- Cisco CCIE/CCDE qualified or equivalent experience in a trading environment
