Client: Elite FinTech Firm – Award winning, tech focused run by passionate Computer Scientists
Salary: Up to £110k + Industry Leading Bonus
My client are looking for a highly-talented Linux Engineer to work in one of their systems teams. They have an unlimited budget for optimising their infrastructure
You\’ll likely work on all of the below but spend most of your time in one main area:
- Build and optimise next gen Linux infrastructure on a HPC Cluster with over 1PB memory, 20K GPUs and 100k CPUs
- Architecting a brand new on premise kubernetes infrastructure
- Working in their high performance DevOps function (building and optimising CI/CD pipelines etc.!)
- A brand new observability platform dealing with over 6 million requests per second and working on tracing and OpenTelemetry (as well as exploring ML for Observability)
- Automate anything and everything with Python & config tools
This is one of the best opportunities for a passionate Linux infrastructure enthusiast out there working on the newest and best tech around with a chance to make your mark on a growing organsiation
Skills/Experience
- Systems Engineering experience in a high-availability &/or low-latency environment
- Strong experience with scripting/automation is highly preferred (Python, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Exposure to on premise storage/Bare Metal infrastructure
- Interest in DevOps
