The role:

My client, an Elite boutique FinTech firm in the City, are seeking a talented Platform Engineer to join their team. You will be required to work in their (beautiful) offices 3 days per week. The team is responsible for building and owning the internal development platform. The role will involve infrastructure design, internal consulting, technology evangelism and everything in between.

Core skills and tech:

  • Kubernetes (on-prem, or via cloud services – EKS / GKE / AKS)
  • Strong understanding of Python (both development, and automation based scripting)
  • Experience working with Git / GitOps
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC – Terraform / Ansible etc.)
  • Solid all round understanding of Linux Infrastructure
  • Networking fundamentals
  • Some knowledge of Observability (Prometheus / Grafana / OpenTelemetry etc.)
