My FinTech client are seeking a Junior Platform Engineer to join their team in London. You will have around 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on global HFT infrastructure
  • Collaborate with various different teams
  • Working effectively in a multi-cloud environment
  • Utilising your grasp of Linux and Networking to assist in tuning and optimising the environment
  • Providing support out of hours where required

Key skills required:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, STEM etc.)
  • 2+ years working in a DevOps / Platform Engineering capacity
  • AWS
  • Strong grasp of Networking concepts
  • Experience in one of the following languages: Bash, Python, Java, Rust, C#

Desirable skills:

  • Docker / Kubernetes
  • Prometheus / Grafana / ELK / Splunk
  • Terraform / Ansible
