Job Description

Role: Java Developer

Location: London (Hybrid)

Day Rate: Up to £450 P/D

Contract: 6 Months Rolling

This firm is a leading provider in software and data engineering, that drives technological and organisational transformation for some of the world’s leading organisations. You will be working alongside highly skilled and enthusiastic computer scientists. The culture is highly collaborative and respectful with a work mindset that understands the client’s needs.

I'm looking for highly collaborative professionals who are passionate about technology and the software industry. Ideal candidates are motivated by solving real-world business problems through technology and are confident in contributing their expertise to challenge conventional thinking and present new ideas.

Role Responsibilities (Full Spec. avail):

  • Develop clean, efficient Java code for web, desktop, or mobile applications
  • Write unit tests, debug issues, and ensure reliable software performance
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, QA, and DevOps teams
  • Contribute to scalable and maintainable system design and architecture
  • Refactor code, optimize performance, and manage technical debt

Successful candidates:

  • Experience working with Azure
  • Understanding of the financial services desirable
  • Strong understanding of Java mandatory
  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent
