As the IT Financial Crime Product Owner, you will be the strategic lead for the bank's Compliance and Regulatory technology estate. The Role

  • Drive the IT strategy, architecture, and solution design across critical Transaction Monitoring and Fraud platforms.
  • Manage a multi-disciplinary team—including Business Analysts, Developers, Infrastructure specialists, and vendor staff—to deliver robust Financial Crime solutions.
  • Bridge the gap between complex regulatory requirements and technical execution, ensuring the bank remains at the forefront of detection and prevention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Architecture: Driving the IT strategy and high-level solution design for Transaction Monitoring and Fraud platforms.
  • Team Leadership: Leading a diverse, multi-disciplinary team of BAs, Developers, and Infrastructure specialists.
  • Product Ownership: Owning the technology roadmap and ensuring delivery aligns with both business needs and regulatory mandates.
  • Vendor Management: Managing relationships and delivery quality for external technology vendors and staff.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as the primary liaison between IT, Compliance, and senior business leadership.
  • Compliance Delivery: Ensuring the end-to-end delivery of robust, scalable Financial Crime solutions in a regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Leadership: Previously held a Technology Management or Product Owner role within a banking environment.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong background in Banking Compliance, Regulatory requirements, and Financial Crime technology.
  • Team Management: Proven track record of managing and leading multi-disciplinary IT teams.
  • Industry Experience: Solid understanding of the Regulatory space and how it impacts IT architecture.
