Job Description \n Job title: Telco Core Network Engineer \n Client: Telco \n Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + Bonus \n Experience Level: 5-10 years \n Location: London \n Skills: Core Network, QA, Network Validation, IMS, Packet Switching, CS, Telco Network Protocols \n The role \n My client are seeking a Telco Core Network Engineer to join their team. \n Offices are Central London based, with expectations being 3 days a week in the office and 2 from home. \n You will need to have a valid driving license. \n There will be limited travel required with the position, likely once a month to parts of mainland Europe for short trips. \n The successful candidate will stem from a Telco background and have strong hands on experience around the Core Network. \n You should come from either a Mobile Network Operator (MNO), Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), or Tier 1 Supplier, and will have worked largely operated in Europe. \n You will have skills around as many of the following as possible \n \n Strong experience around Core Telco Networks \n Experience working for an MNO/MVNO/Tier 1 Supplier \n Good understanding of Network Validation, Testing, Performance and Quality \n Experience with Drive Testing useful \n CS (MSS/MGW, SBC, STP, SMSC, HLR, IVR) \n PS (SGSN/SGW, PGW, PCRF, DNS, AAA) \n IMS (CSCF, MRF, TAS, ePDG) \n Good understanding of standards and architectures (3GPP, IETF, GSMA etc.) \n Core Network Protocols (GTP, Gi, Sy, Gx, Gy, Ro, MAP, SIP, RTP, SMPP etc.) \n Working through logs to debug issues \n \n Desirable \n \n SIM/eSIM/BAP Testing \n Oracle/SQL \n Unix/Linux \n \n Please apply ASAP for more information.
