An Elite FinTech Firm is looking for highly talented Database Administrator with strong PostgreSQL experience to join an elite group in group of individuals.
This team have an unlimited tech budget, promote a great culture and are made up of fantastic like-minded individuals.
Role:
- Working as part of a team of engineers looking after and building a zero-down time low latency database infrastructure
- Automating anything and everything
- Working on a new build of a custom high performance time series database (Similar to Clickhouse)
- Working heavily in PostgreSQL as well as provisioning/designs new solutions
- Performance tuning/optimisation
Skills:
- 5+ years of PostgreSQL administration is essential
- Knowledge of performance tuning is a plus
- Knowledge of Linux is essential
- Knowledge of some of the following is a plus: Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Puppet, Chef, CI/CD, Docker, Prometheus etc.
- Exposure to Python/C# or Powershell are a plus!
