We are partnering with a world-class trading firm at the forefront of technology and financial innovation. They are seeking Rust Developers to join their highly skilled engineering team in London. What you’ll do:
- Maintain and enhance peripheral applications and user interfaces using the latest Rust and .NET technologies, supporting 24/7 trading operations.
- Collaborate in an international, agile team of like-minded professionals.
- Work closely with senior engineers to explore emerging technologies and best practices, designing and integrating improvements to expand system capabilities.
- Take ownership of production support and ensure system reliability.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, shaping the future of the team.
What we’re looking for:
- Software development experience, with strong exposure to Linux environments.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Proven expertise in writing clean, efficient Rust code. C++ an added bonus.
- A genuine passion for financial markets and blockchain technologies.
- Experience building reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a drive to deliver elegant solutions.
- Bonus: knowledge of multithreading, web protocols (WebSocket, RESTful), or high throughput/low latency systems.
- Experience mentoring and developing engineers.
