Assistant Accountant to join their growing Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, technology‑focused environment where you'll support core financial operations while helping drive process improvements and automation.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in the production of accurate financial information while contributing to the continuous improvement of finance processes.
This position offers broad exposure across accounting, reporting and automation, working closely with both Finance and Technology teams in a collaborative, high‑performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Develop and improve automated finance processes using tools such as Python, SQL or VBA.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with audit processes.
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance and Technology to improve systems and workflows.
Requirements
- Previous experience within an accounting or audit function.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Macros.
- Experience with SQL, Python or VBA would be highly advantageous.
- An interest in financial markets, technology or investment management.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or another analytical discipline.
- Part-qualified or working towards ACCA or CIMA.
