Are you a PCN Pharmacy Technician looking for a fulfilling locum opportunity in Herefordshire? We’ve got an excellent role that could be the perfect fit for you!

Duration: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with a 30-minute break
Start Date: June/July 2025
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: £24–£28 per hour DOE
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist with structured medication reviews and support repeat prescribing processes
- Work closely with GPs, pharmacists, and other clinicians to ensure effective medicine use
- Promote safe, effective, and efficient prescribing practices
- Manage medicines reconciliation for new patients and post-discharge
- Support audits and contribute to improving prescribing protocols
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Primary Care or PCN setting
- Strong understanding of medicines management and optimisation
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic healthcare environment
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with working hours from 9am to 5pm (including a 30-minute break). The position is based on-site initially, with the potential for hybrid/remote working further into the contract, depending on performance and service needs. This is an ongoing locum role with long-term potential.
